Shannon was born September 7, 1976, in Houston, Texas. She is a model and a star actress. She is the only child of a Syrian/Lebanese father and a mother of Cherokee decent.
Shannon traveled to New York City for the first time by herself, and found it fascinating and a bit terrifying. This was Shannon's beginning of working with various magazines and traveling to such places as Australia, Japan, Paris and Hong Kong. Shannon was humbled and felt lucky to be getting paid to travel and see the world at the same time.
Returning to the USA, Shannon traveled to LA. Shannon decided to go ahead and get a modeling agent and have some pictures taken, and signed on with the Ford Modeling Agency. Within a couple of weeks of arriving in LA, she ended up booking a Taco Bell commercial. From the first commercial, Shannon has managed to succeed in show business with very little difficulty. Some of her most recent works are "Scary Movie" and "Thirteen Ghosts". Shannon has been featured in Playboy and has hosted for VH1. She is rising to stardom quickly.
