Dara's introduction to film began at a young age when her father bought the family a video camera and was gracious enough to let his young daughter use it. She spent much of her childhood making home movies with her friends; shooting commercials, documentaries, talk shows and even her own short films.
In college she took every acting class offered, often taking them twice for the sheer love of working on dramatic projects. Acting led her to working on short plays, and short films, at the local college for Dara, it was a dream come true. Always a driven, and passionate woman; acting consumed her.
Gravestone Entertainment was casting for an upcoming feature titled The Innocent and the auditions were local. The opportunity may not come around again, and Dara pushed herself, prepared to give the audition of her life... And she did. She was cast to play Shelly Mulgrove, a starring role in The Innocent.
Since shooting The Innocent, Dara has been cast in two short films and has landed another starring role, this time in the psychological thriller, a role sure to challenge her and give her fans nightmares as she becomes the object of desire for a serial killer.
