Danica D. is a filmmaker, actress, singer, wife of John Birmingham and mother of 2 year old Rowan Birmingham. She has been singing and acting from childhood. She moved to L.A. at the age of 20 to study and pursue a life of filmmaking and acting.
Danica has acted in dozens of short films/commercials/music videos, received a B.A. in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University and starred in or cameoed in her husbands two feature legnth films. She has also won awards for her two high caliber short films that she produced/directed in Los Angeles while at film school. She has been in horror movies such as The Vampires of Zanzibar (2009), Rebel Fish (2002) and Imagination (2002).
Danica is currently in development on her directorial debut feature film, a SAG comedy musical that she also stars in. Her husband John will be co-producing and starring in the film, and commercial director and music producer Justin Jagoda will be co-producing, co-directing with her and producing all the musical tracks.
